Physician-Emergency Room Medicine
Locum Tenens Emergency Medicine Opportunity – Texas
Assignment Details:
- 9 Positions Available
- Start Date: 04/01/2026
- EMR: Cerner
- 24-hour physician coverage
- 12-hour shifts (7a–7p, 7p–7a)
- Malpractice: Claims-made policy with unlimited tail provided
This is a contract Emergency Medicine opportunity with a regional hospital system in Texas. Providers must be willing to obtain privileges at three affiliated emergency departments within the system to allow for flexible scheduling. Credentialing for all sites will be processed concurrently.
Requirements:
- Active Texas Medical License
- DEA with Texas address
- Board Certified (ABEM, ABFM, ABIM or osteopathic equivalent)
- Residency trained in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine
- ACLS, ATLS, and PALS certifications
- Case logs from the past 2 years
- CME documentation (past 2 years)
- Copies of all education and training diplomas
- Social Security card and driver’s license
- Color photo submitted to MSO
- TB and Flu documentation
Ongoing Annual Requirements:
- 8 hours Stroke CME
- 8 hours Trauma CME
